Artist's Comments
Goldheart - The legendary king of the Lights. Legend states that he was the king of the Lights and thus the ruler of Spectora for a little over a century. The lifespan of a light does not usually last this long, but if a Light is born king or queen, the combined light energy of the nation of lights is said to keep the ruler alive for an extended amount of time. Old tapistries and paintings depict him being over thrown by an unknown Shadow. All archaeological evidance of this find has been vandilized so the identity of the Shadow is unknown. All current paintings, such as this, show Goldheart with the wounds of his battle. He was thought to be dead after loosing the battle, but rumors state that he remains in hiding, waiting for the time to rise up against the Shadow King.
