So, if you haven't heard, I'm back from vacation and I have to say, it was AMAZING. We did a lot of things, which were really fun and probably slightly insane, so here's pretty much how things went.

We first went to Rock Island State Park in Tennessee. That place is one of my favorite vacation spots really just because it's so beautiful, and there are a lot of great swimming and fishing spots. Plus the hiking and rock climbing there is unmatched, and they have a great camp ground. After hiking to Twin Falls, we left for Tallulah Gorge, Georgia. There, we hiked down over 1000 steps, plus strenuous trails to get to the bottom of the gorge. At the bottom, there are some falls called Bridal Vail Falls which you can slide down like a large water slide. It's super fun! After we left there, we headed to St. Marys, Georgia and Cumberland Island. We stayed at a historic little hotel called the Riverview Hotel. You could literally see the water from your room, and the ferry was right across from the hotel. At the island, there is a mansion that was once owned by the Carnegie family. Also, there is about 150 wild horses that live on the island as well. I'll post pics of them later. After we left the hotel, we traveled to Orlando for the Nazarene General Assembly. While we were there, we also visited Walt Disney World. We had a lot of fun at both, and the speakers at the assembly were fantastic! At DW, we even got to help test a attraction that's coming to Epcot sometime in the fall! (I'm not allowed to say what though.) Overall, it was a great vacation that I don't think I'll ever forget!

As for art, I'll be posting some photographs and I'll be working on some other things as well!

Ta ta for now!

How long has it been?

So yeah... It's summer. I haven't really been updating things just because we're getting ready for vacation, which we leave for next Saturday. I think. Don't quote me on that. Anyway, I was working on a major piece with Fenny's tablet, but because of certain circumstances, that will have to be postponed until she gets back from her vacation, and I get back from mine. That doesn't mean I won't be working on art, it just means I won't be working on that piece of art. Believe me, I've got some stuff in mind that I want to work on, and with summer, I should have more time to work on it.
Also, I was able to get a used laptop for a fairly cheap price, and it's a very nice one at that! It runs XP, which will be great for any programs that I have to use for school, plus it has a larger screen, which is nice. Anyway, that's all for now, folks!

*sigh*
This weekend was really tough on me. To be truthful, I wish that didn't have to deal with this, but it would have come out sooner or later. See, my mom told me this weekend that she's having some major problems with dad. I knew that they were fighting a lot, but I didn't realize that it was this bad. It's mostly my dad's fault. I don't want to get into detail about it, because they do check my page sometimes. My mom is trying so hard to over come this and avoid having a divorce. My dad's trying really hard too. It's just that after knowing what he did, it's hard to cope with it all. That's why I'm warning you ahead that if I post some art or poems that are depressing, it's just me venting, and I'll be okay. I have a good feeling that all of this is going to work out, but every member in the family is going to need some time to heal.

Note: Normally, I don't agree with so much drama on DA, but to be honest, I need this. Also, like I said, I just wanted to warn you guys ahead of time.

So I herd u leik updatez...

Buuuuut, I promise that I'll try to be a little more faithful in posting WIP if you want me to. Seriously, I am working on stuff. I just haven't put it up yet. MMMMM... and also, I borrowed Fenny's tablet while her computer is down, so you'll be seeing some pwnsome digital art from me. Toodles!

Gah.. I really need to learn not to hit enter after I type the title. Anyway, here I am, typing this, with dog blood probably still all over me, despite the scrubbing I just gave myself.

Now before you call the ASPCA on me, let me explain. I was supposed to dogsit for my youth pastor while they were out of town today. My instructions were to let the two dogs in about 6:00 tonight, and then feed them in the morning. Tonight, when I went to go let the dogs in, I noticed Jersey, a ten month old puppy (she is so wild!) had blood all over her. After convincing her to sit still long enough so I could examine her, I noticed that she'd torn her ear on something. And of course, she was shaking her head almost constantly because of the irritation. So basically, she got blood everywhere. As of right now, we've got it bandaged and she's in my heated garage. We've notified her owners, and depending on what they want and how her ear is doing, we might take her in to the vet tomorrow. Considering the fact that it's about a one inch gash, I told our youth pastor that it would probably be a good idea to get it sewn up tomorrow, but he disagrees. I can't really take Jersey into the vet unless he says to, so as far as that, my hands are tied. Yeah...

I am NEVER DOGSITTING AGAIN. And I'm not even getting paid for this!
